摘要: Over the last two decades, use of intraspinal drug delivery (ISDD) systems for treatment chronic pain and spasticity has increased. The clinical practice varies from institution to as far utilization different agents or routes administration. approach is influenced by type treated (e.g., nociceptive vs. neuropathic). choice depends on life expectancy well planned time frame treatment. Intraspinal catheter placement frequently chosen cancer pain, (caused cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, other neurologic conditions), intractable nonmalignant (severe post-laminectomy syndrome arachnoiditis, vertebral compressive fractures resistant therapies, complex regional (CRPS), postherpetic neuralgia, types neuralgias) administration intrathecal chemotherapy CSF drainage.
