摘要: Summary Objectives Patients with voice-related disorders are ideally treated by a multidisciplinary team. Acoustic voice analysis and patient-reported outcome measures recommended parts of the clinical assessment. The present paper aims at further documenting importance acoustic analyses, maximum phonation time (MPT) Voice Handicap Index (VHI) into investigations. Study design participants (N = 80 larynx cancer, N = 32 recurrent palsy, N = 23 dysfunctional, N = 75 degenerative/inflammation (N = 19 various excluded)) were included consecutively outpatient laryngology clinic Haukeland University Hospital. In addition, control group 98 healthy subjects included. Method samples, MPT, VHI scores in addition to standard information obtained. analyses performed from these samples determining level jitter, shimmer Noise-to-Harmonic ratio (NHR) as well analyzing frequency prolonged vowel. Results Jitter, shimmer, NHR correlated strongly (r ≈ 0.8; P Conclusion Among disease patients MPT segregated all determined between conditions except dysfunctional group, but also some extent patient groups. among cancer degenerative/inflammatory patients. potentially add useful laryngological studies.
