摘要: Melamine is a common crosslinker widely used in the coil coating industry to crosslink hydroxyl functional polyesters. Theoretically, melamine can also self-condense with consequence regions higher density build up coating. Although self-condensation has been studied, most of works were based on segregation surface; existence only modelled rather than observed. Utilising confocal Raman microscopy and nanoindentation, concentration clearly observed characterised for first time. It primarily found from this work that show unique optical features. Those are harder normal at temperature above Tg; suggests cross-linking melamine-enriched region very high, as expected. Moreover, pigment much lower (or even zero). A possible mechanism was proposed paper.
