摘要: Abstract As the technical issues of performance and durability electrochromic (EC) windows near resolution, more attention is being focused upon economics “smart” window fabrication, installation operation. A retrofit EC covering that could be readily applied to existing have several economical advantages, particularly if it were photovoltaic (PV)-powered. Such a produced on flexible polymer substrate would adhered inside surface window. It conveniently replaced as newer, better coverings developed not long proven service lifetime permanent coating. PV-EC also obviate need for expensive electrical wiring power controls. Along with advantages self-powered come disadvantages new technological challenges. In this paper, we will describe design options challenges associated concept which are presently studied at NREL.
