摘要: Recent JET and JT-60U results, have underlined the need to look into measurement requirements of fast particles diagnostics in ITER. Not only alpha but all ions (He4,p,D,T,He3) present plasma should be diagnosed. Furthermore, electron diagnostics, monitoring deviations from a Maxwellian distribution function, play central role cyclotron heating current drive. In ITER He are mentioned: space resolution is δr = a/10 (a minor radius), time δτ 100 ms accuracy 10–30%. The new proposed for spatial ~a/20 (10 cm on ITER), (minimum) ~100 τA (~100 µs density ions: minority could 4–10% density. candidate diagnostic techniques considered amongst others γ-ray spectroscopy, ion collective Thomson scattering (CTS) charge exchange recombination spectroscopy (CXRS). detects energy range 1 < E 5 MeV RD system includes high power gyrotron operating region not yet tested applications (i.e. using at frequency below first ECE harmonic). For CXRS achievable r/a 0.3 R&D needed assess minimum figures terms possible measurements close centre. deduced detecting effects interaction with MHD instabilities put forward important objectives systems. particular 200 1300 keV escaping urgent development.
