摘要: A millimicrosecond time-of-flight technique has been applied to a study of the scattering 2.2-Mev neutrons from targets Fe, ${\mathrm{Pb}}^{206}$, and Y. The 3-Mev phase-focused proton beam BNL 18-inch cyclotron was used produce high-intensity neutron pulses in $\mathrm{T}(p, n){\mathrm{He}}^{3}$ reaction. angular distributions elastically scattered have measured for above targets. inelastically 0.845-Mev level ${\mathrm{Fe}}^{56}$ 0.803-Mev ${\mathrm{Pb}}^{206}$ carefully studied, were found be symmetric about ${\ensuremath{\theta}}_{\mathrm{c}.\mathrm{m}.}=90\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}$. levels at 1.34 1.43 Mev 0.913 1.53 Y measured, also appear inelastic shows evidence new 1.15 Mev.
