摘要: Previous studies have provided evidence that several key elements of renin-angiotensin system (RAS) are present in the rat pancreas, notably angiotensinogen, which is mandatory for intracellular generation physiologically active angiotensin II. The data support existence an intrinsic RAS, may be important pancreatic blood flow and ductal anion secretion. In study, effect chronic hypoxia on expression RAS components, particularly at levels its precursor angiotensinogen receptor subtypes AT(1) AT(2), were investigated pancreas. Results from western blot semi-quantitative reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analyses unequivocally showed caused a marked increase both protein gene when compared with normoxic However, results RT-PCR there was differential AT(2) subtypes, exhibited subtype-specific changes expression. For AT(1), did not cause significant change mRNA AT(1a) but AT(1b). increased component genes by significance physiological pathophysiological aspects
