摘要: In the last years, power consumption of telecommunication networks has attracted attention both researchers and field experts in order to contain associated energy bills reduce their ecological impact. Many proposed solutions have been focused exclusively on reduction consumption, without adequately considering more traditional network engineering objectives such as balancing resource utilization, routing policy, or resilience schemes. As a consequence, control plane strategies passed from one extreme other, being totally energy-unaware energy-efficient at expenses load-balancing, with obvious impacts former case blocking rate latter one.In this paper, we present hybrid wavelength assignment algorithm that, when is lightly loaded, operates an way, by connections paths requiring lowest amount energy, while, load increases, it dynamically switches pure load-balancing scheme best allocate available communication resources.
