摘要: An adaptive technique for color image segmentation is presented in this paper. The performed using a multiresolution scheme and considering the background areas have quite uniform features at low-resolution representation of image. First, pyramidal original built. Then improved iteratively each resolution information. This method allows to extract outdoor images. Background foreground separation especially useful initialization object tracking applications. Several spaces are compared order determine robust specially with respect illumination changes which frequently occur Mean value Hue component from HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) space selected as best decision criterion matching. Segmentation results soccer game video sequences illustrate efficiency.
