摘要: Triboconditioning is a mechanochemical surface finishing process developed for improving the tribological properties of mechanical components made steel or cast iron. The combines elements extreme pressure burnishing component with tribochemical deposition low-friction anti-wear film tungsten disulphide (WS2). This allows one to produce, in single operation, smoother significantly reduced coefficient boundary friction and improved wear-resistance load-carrying capacity. This study presents results rig tests carried out valve train cylinder bores that underwent triboconditioning treatment. show significant improvement triboconditioned components. attributed formation WS2 tribofilms at modified roughness profile core (Rk) peak height (Rpk).
