摘要: Abstract Rhombomylus is a gliroid mammal endemic to several early Eocene localities of central and eastern Asia. It best represented by collection numerous jaws teeth, dozens juvenile adult skulls, associated postcranial specimens from the Yuhuangding Formation at Dajian village, Junxian County, Hubei Province, China. These are preserved material nonrodent, nonlagomorph Glires known date, they provide unique opportunity for us understand anatomy, intraspecies variation, postnatal ontogeny, phylogeny, evolution basal mammals. This study opens with an introduction current knowledge phylogeny mammals, brief review research history Rhombomylus, description locality where were collected. The core consists taxonomic revision genus, detailed osteological morphology, extensive analyses on morphological character...
