Immigration-Related Detention: Current Legislative Issues

摘要: As Congress considers addressing some of the problems in nation's immigration system, detention noncitizens United States may be an issue as choose to reevaluate priorities (i.e., who should detained) and resources. There are many policy issues surrounding aliens. The Illegal Immigrant Reform Responsibility Act 1996 (IIRIRA) increased number aliens subject mandatory detention, raised concerns about justness especially it is applied asylum seekers arriving without proper documentation.
