摘要: Abstract The addition of silicon to steels has been found strongly increase the material’s resistance corrosion in liquid lead–bismuth eutectic environment; however mechanical properties ferritic–martensitic elevated are also affected by metal environment. This paper discusses assessment enriched high Cr T91, T91-Si, EP823, S2439 and S2440 when contact with LBE. stability strength oxide layer was examined nano-indentation EP823 be harder stiffer than that T91. Furthermore, nano-indents caused cracking at matrix–oxide interface while no cracks were observed due T91 layer. These findings then related respective susceptibility embrittlement.
