摘要: In this paper we study the release of cargo from polymeric nano-carriers under shear. Vesicles formed by two star block polymers— A 12 B 6 C 2 ( ) and )—and one linear copolymer— 14 ), are investigated using dissipative particle dynamics (DPD) simulations. - -blocks solvophobic -block is solvophilic. The three polymers form vesicles different structures. subjected to shear both in bulk between walls. shear, mechanisms similar for all vesicles, with travelling through vesicle membrane no preferential location. When sheared walls, high rate only observed after it touches wall. For vesicle, critical condition formation wall-polymersome interface which effect promoting secondary. High achieved solvophilic pathway allowing travel cavity exterior. results show that well controlled target polymersomes can be suitable design potentially very useful engineering applications. As an example, used as carriers surface active friction reducing additives released at rubbing surfaces where needed most.
