摘要: Background: Investigations of the cognitive processes underlying specific language impairment (SLI) have implicated deficits in storage and processing phonological information, but to date these abilities not been studied same group children with SLI.Aims: To examine extent which immediate verbal short‐term working memory may co‐occur a SLI.Methods & Procedures: Twenty aged 7–11 years SLI completed comprehensive battery memory, as well two awareness tasks.Outcomes Results: The majority had both persisted after general were taken into account.
