摘要: Apoptosis is co-regulated by the conserved family of Bcl-2-related proteins, which includes both its agonists (Bax) and antagonists (Bcl-XL). A mutant strain yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae has been shown to express all morphological signs apoptosis. Overexpression Bax lethal in S. cerevisiae, whereas simultaneous overexpression Bcl-XL rescues cells. We report that mammalian a wild type triggers changes similar those apoptotic metazoan cells: loss asymmetric distribution plasma membrane phosphatidylserine, blebbing, chromatin condensation margination, DNA fragmentation. Simultaneous prevents these changes. demonstrate phenotypic alterations strongly resembling it causes
