摘要: Peatland area in Indonesia was about 14.91 million ha spread out Sumatra 6.44 (43 %), Kalimantan 4.78 (32 and Papua islands 3.69 (25 %). In 1995, Mega Rice Project (MRP) tropical peatland launched Central Kalimantan, of which project failed because knowledge gaps, especially on hydrology, water management, peat subsidence, impacts long term drainage, mechanization problems socio-economic consequences.
