Adsorption Selectivity of Fatty Acid Collector by Synthetic Magnetite

摘要: Selective adsorption of collectors on mineral surface can directly impact the flotation separation performance. Mineral tests indicated that reverse synthetic magnetite only bring a 2 to 4 percent increase in concentrate grade, tailings grade remains high. The amounts commonly used fatty acid collector, such as sodium oleate, adsorbed onto are measured with indirect measurement investigate selectivity by magnetite. Results showed higher collector for natural magnetite, 38.25% difference average rate oleate between valuable minerals and gangue, but less selective artificial 1% its gangue.
