摘要: The hormonal control of moulting, reproduction, and diapause in insects has little or no relationship to any similar phenomena other animals, the hormones involved these processes are unlike known vertebrates.The availability pure chemicals with high biological activity permitted an astonishing increase research on insect hormones. At present, understanding endocrinology is far too incomplete justify much speculation about possibility using as insecticides. However, preliminary studies discussed this paper give reason for hope, results further effort.
