Mass transfer coefficients from pendant water drop measurements in compressed carbon dioxide

摘要: Abstract Mass transfer coefficients were determined in the two-phase system of water/compressed carbon dioxide at three temperatures 297, 313 and 335 K, pressure range 6–25 MPa. Mutual two components, water was investigated binary system, extraction phenol from an aqueous droplet by studied a ternary system. In all systems pendant drop formed tip capillary exposed to quiescent surrounding for definite time. To obtain mass experimental data, such as volume concentration function contact time, model used that divides transport process into steps: towards interface, passage through straight away interface. Depending on particular only one or these steps considered have rate-determining function.
