摘要: Abstract The maxillary arches of two monkeys were irradiated with cobalt-60 in therapeutic doses ranging from 3,000 to 7,013 rads. pulps twenty-three permanent teeth extracted periodically studied microscopically. Four nonirradiated mandibular served as controls, and nineteen at levels approximating 3,000, 5,000, 7,000 rads well plus 1 month 2 months. After extraction, the sectioned No histologic differences dental tissues due radiation any dose level or interval detected. Cobalt-60 a range up had no demonstrable adverse effect on mature monkeys.
