摘要: Protocols to determine the accuracy of noninvasive blood pressure monitors have been published by Association for Advancement Medical Instrumentation, British Hypertension Society, and European Society (ESH). We compared statistical basis each these protocols. Although Instrumentation protocols require a minimum 85 participants, ESH protocol requires only 33 participants. The reduced sample size results in reduction power from 98 70%, which brings into question applicability (International) protocol.
