摘要: Background Malignant melanoma (MM) patients are at increasing risk of developing second primary cancers (SPCs). We assessed mortality and SPCs in MM with siblings or parents affected same cancer compared that the general population. Methods used Swedish Family-Cancer Database to assess relative risks (RRs) causes death until 2015 a diagnosis between 1958 2015. identified 35 451patients among whom 3212 received subsequent SPC. RRs after were calculated stratifying over concordant family history first-degree relatives. Results Familial increased for (RR = 19.28, 95% CI 16.71 22.25), squamous cell skin 7.58, 5.57 10.29), leukemia 5.69, 2.96 10.94), bladder 4.15, 2.50 6.89), ovarian 3.89, 1.46 10.37), kidney 3.77, 1.57 9.06), unknown 3.67, 1.65 8.16), nervous system 2.88, 1.20 6.93), breast 2.34, 1.92 2.84), lung 2.24, 1.50 3.35), prostate 2.22, 1.89 2.61) statistical significance. For all cancers, familial RR was excess (2.09, 2.02 2.16 vs 1.78, 1.69 1.87; Ptrend < .0001). Cause SPC is shown be dependent on site though contributed majority deaths. Conclusions appear higher prior contribute mortality. most common cause almost uniformly major contributing sites. improved survival patients, prevention early detection would important.
