摘要: Silicon (Si) plays an important role in the structural rigidity of cell walls. When plants have a passive or selective assimilation they are poor accumulators as solanaceae, percentage silicon absorbed and present is lower than 1%, but its presence can provide significant benefits to plant before it undergoes biotic abiotic stresses. The objective this work was assess effect fertilization with monosilicic acid on yield quality cherry tomato crops (Lycopersicon esculentum var. cerasiforme cv. ‘Salomee’) grown rockwool greenhouse. Two types treatments were investigated: control test (conventional fertilization) silicic [Si(OH)4] [seven applications 250 mL Si(OH)4·ha−1 for each crop cycle]. Significant differences observed, including higher number fruits (fruits/plant) larger (kg m−2) plots that fertilized silicon.
