摘要: Risk analysis and regulatory systems are usually evaluated according to utilitarian frameworks, as they viewed operate “objectively” by considering the health, environmental, economic impacts of technological applications. Yet, estimation during risk decisions in review affected value choices actors stakeholders; attention principles such autonomy, justice, integrity; power relationships. In this article, case studies biotechnology used illustrate how non-utilitarian prominent argue that these relationships should be carefully considered we consider nanotechnology oversight for its products. We there not distinct separations between “science-based” systems, which evaluations consequences products primarily considered, integrity, non-maleficence, autonomy. It further expected that, given research into fair treatment decision-making processes, ethics will affect citizens assess emerging technologies. Finally, a more holistic approach evaluating is suggested, one does draw sharp distinction analysis, regulation, respect values.
