摘要: This paper examines the claim that media exaggerated threat of H1N1, prompting an immediate demand for limited vaccine. We compare Australian’s and Daily Telegraph’s (UK) coverage H1N1 with in Globe Mail, which is comparatively critical government performance. The events October 2009 underscore difficulty importance responding to “uncertain risks” (Renn 2008), risks there a lack scientific basis decision making potentially generate anxious public responses.
