摘要: Abstract Threonine is typically the third limiting amino acid in corn and soybean meal diets for broilers. However, reported threonine requirement values broiler vary greatly, growing broilers has been studied little. It important to accurately meet requirements maintenance tissue accretion as bird ages. Commercial were fed threonine-deficient experimental composed of grain sorghum, peanut meal, corn, poultry from 30 42 days age. Performance commercial containing surfeit was equal that birds control diet. Results indicate 21 day NRC 0.74% diet too high, based on weight gain feed:gain response. breast traits may be higher than performance criteria. Future research should address mature carcass traits.
