摘要: Observation of the prompt and pronounced effects cortisone on rheumatoid arthritis related diseases has been followed by studies to determine whether specific structural requirements for antirheumatic action could be elucidated. Twelve steroid substances other than four adrenal cortex extracts have administered in twenty-two trials 11 patients (cases 1 11) who had with without associated spondylitis. Ten these also received cortisone, pituitary adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) or both. Results administration served as a standard against which preparations were compared. Effects (or hormone) classified very marked, marked moderate.1In this present study effect is graded 4, response 3 plus 3, moderate 2 2, mild
