From motion to emotion: a wearable system for the multimedia enrichment of a Butoh dace performance

摘要: We present a mobile, multimedia system based on network of body worn motion sensors, wearable computer and visualization engine that is used to produce visual enhancement Butoh dance performance. The core the novel classification scheme allows us capture emotion expressed by dancer during performance map it onto scripted effects. describe artistic concept behind enhancement, architecture. In an experimental evaluation we investigate usefulness robustness as well accuracy motion-sensing system. also summarize experiences with using for live performances stage in several shows.
