摘要: To overcome the limitations of active edges, electrical conductivity and surface area MoS2 nanosheets, in present work, we have successfully synthesized amorphous MoSx quantum dots with a larger number edge atoms using simple chemical reaction via bottom-up approach. Structural characterizations are carried out by TEM, XRD, Raman XPS measurements. EDX analyses indicate unsaturated ‘S’ these ultrafine dots. We used this material as an efficient electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution (HER) neutral medium. The shows remarkably low overpotential (65 mV) towards HER compared to that other crystalline or nanomaterials. origin such onset potential is presence more sulfur (S22−) ligands enhanced sites. It also very high catalytic activity well good stability after 12 h generation water
