摘要: Abstract To handle the rising amount of plastic waste in environment, new technologies are necessary to recover value this resource. Chemical recycling is one option treat mixed and multi-layer streams. Emerging works e.g. with pyrolysis (via thermal or catalytic cracking) streams results multi-material output Membranes a widely adopted relevant technology for bulk separations, within chemical operations. Based on different separation principle, they need less energy than distillation columns. However, when it comes their contribution environmental impact whole process chain, membranes special attention. Compared installed units, such as upgrading reactors, have shortened life time (non-permanent) compared chain extra treatments avoid fouling maintain efficiency. These points make challenging integrate LCA model representing model. In paper framework will be presented regarding how can integrated into longer focus handling scales.
