摘要: Regulatory T (Treg) cells maintain peripheral tolerance and limit effector responses to prevent excessive immune-mediated tissue damage. However, recent research reveals that Treg also dampen the induction of immune and, thus, must be controlled enable effective protection against infections cancer. Until now, this control Treg-cell function has been believed by communication through cytokines or stimulation co-stimulatory molecules on antigen-presenting cells. new evidence demonstrated can sense pathogens directly Toll-like receptors (TLRs) consequently, modify their behaviour. This review examines ramifications TLR engagement conventional cells, discusses potential role TLRs consequences for disease therapy.
