Spatial-Temporal Characteristics and Outlook of Grain Consumption in China

摘要: In the context of sustained growth grain demand and accelerated upgrading diet structure, grasping change characteristics trend domestic consumption can provide important support to ensuring food security in China. This article looks at spatial distribution its outlook China based on changing main influence factors. Results show that have kept growing over past 15 years China, among which decreased, while both industry feed increased. As for pattern, it takes an obvious “eastward” relative equilibrium between South North. It also indicates consumption, especially will be driven by influential factors, such as increase population, urbanizing process dietary pattern. The gap East West reduced, pattern south-north balance.
