摘要: Abstract Waste heat recovery from sintered ore particles (SOPs) is deemed to be a promising approach improving the thermal efficiency in iron and steel industry. In this work, industrial SOPs sampled plant were characterized obtain comprehensive set of fundamental structural thermophysical properties. The investigated identified as self-fluxed sinters having basicity 1.175 after composition analysis, two peaks observed on pore size distribution. specific capacity at elevated temperatures up 200 °C was measured, with power-law fit curve being established for extrapolation higher 900 °C. conductivity SOP samples various porosities determined experimentally, while Sierpinski-carpet-based fractal model also utilized predict effective function porosity. validated by experimental results, which can applied over wide range
