摘要: This report provides both summaries and detailed discussions of the theoretical foundations, methods, findings empirical research aimed at identifying barriers to collaborative decision-making in multicultural On-Site Operations Coordination Centers (OSOCC). The was conducted 2005 2006 Linkoping University Hogskolan i Skovde sponsored by International Department Swedish Rescue Services Agency. experiments were controlled but dynamic laboratory studies communication, collaboration, decision making culturally homogeneous teams four that assembled ad-hoc on-site. teams- task manage conduct emergency operations within C3Fire microworld. recorded all communication among team members actions they took. Participants individually completed a battery self-report instruments about their values beliefs. Results are summarized list 30 dimensions demographic cultural diversity likely be found whenever small multinational formed potential impact these is explained using analogy faultlines.
