摘要: We analyse the deficiencies behind Eastern Australian gas market by applying a framework proposed International Energy Agency. show that this has structural weaknesses include inadequate supplies at hubs; limited pipeline capacity; predominance of long†term supply contracts; in design; and difficulties with third party access. provide five policy actions to help remedy these establish functional market. Although our study is Australia, it, nevertheless, provides insights for countries Asia Pacific region, which may wish move towards more competitive markets, including trading hubs.
