摘要: Minimal clinically important difference is the smallest in score of an outcome instrument that patients perceive as important. A prospective observational study was conducted involving 66 consecutive undergoing limited open carpal tunnel release. Patients completed Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire (CTQ) before surgery and 3 months post-surgery. transition item for patient satisfaction after used anchor. Receiver operator characteristic curves were to determine minimal differences CTQ its two subscales best separated satisfied unsatisfied patients. 0.92 point change CTQ, a 1.14 symptom subscale, 0.74 function subscale indicated relevant threshold satisfaction, those values greater than what could be accounted by measurement errors.
