摘要: The investigation of the nonlinear response shell structures requires besides knowledge about geometrical and material behaviour insight in stability response. Here three main aspects arise. These are associated with detection singular points (e.g. limit or bifurcation points), path-following pre- postcritical range a branch-switching between different paths. problems treated this paper using finite element method. For purpose we summarize necessary formulations, where emphasize higher order derivatives. In next section present brief overview on methods. A aspect analysis is points. Thus, introduce definition points, derive methods to detect type point report possibilities treat considerations an accompanying way. Furthermore discuss modern concepts calculate directly so called extended systems. Remarks procedures terminate theoretical considerations. At end some numerical examples given illustrate derived algorithms.
