摘要: Rosewood oil (RO) (Aniba rosaeodora Ducke) is rich in linalool, a monoterpene alcohol, which has well studied anxiolytic, sedative and anticonvulsant effects. The inhibition of the increases cAMP protects against seizures diversity models epilepsy. In this paper, principal aim was to investigate effects RO, (±)-linalool (-)-linalool) on adenylate cyclase. They were tested chick retinas forskolin used stimulate enzyme target. phosphodiesterase inhibitor, 4-(3-butoxy-4-methoxybenzyl)-imidazolidin-2-one, non-selective adenosine receptor antagonist 3-isobutyl-methyl-xanthine (IBMX), control participation receptors resulting effects, respectively. accumulation measured by immune assay (EIA). oil, (-)-linalool inhibited exclusively stimulated forskolin, even when blocked with IBMX. IC(50) values (in μ m concentration range) calculated from their response-curves not statistically different, however, compounds presented different relative efficacy. These results extend range subcellular mechanisms underlying relaxant action linalool central nervous system.
