General series solution for finite square-well energy levels for use in wave-packet studies

摘要: We develop a series solution for the bound-state energy levels of quantum-mechanical one-dimensional finite square-well potential. show that this general is useful local approximations spectrum (which target particular range potential well high accuracy), global provide analytic expressions reasonable accuracy entire bound states), and numerical methods. This also provides an description dynamical phenomena; with it, we compute time scales classical motion, revivals, super-revivals wave-packet states excited in well.
