摘要: In this chapter, we will use multitype branching processes with mutation to model cancer. With cancer progression, resistance therapy, and metastasis in mind, investigate τ k , the time of first type mutation, σ that founds a family line does not die out, as well growth number cells. The last three sections apply these results metastasis, ovarian cancer, tumor heterogeneity. Even though martingales stable laws are mentioned, notes should be accessible student who is familiar Poisson continuous Markov chains.
