Model to Reduce HIV Related Stigma among Indonesian Nurses

摘要: Stigmatization of persons living with HIV (PLWH) did by health professionals including nurses. Stigma was a barrier nurses to implement nursing care PLWH patients. The purpose this study make model reducing stigma among particularly in the hospital, district Banyuwangi, Indonesia. Design used analytical observational. population all who worked 4 hospitals Banyuwangi Total sample recruited were 77 respondents. Data collected questionnaire and analyzed using Smart PLS (Partial Least Squares) . result showed that existed on labelling stereotyping patient. Transcultural components had influence nurses’ AIDS patients; there jobs factor, facilities values knowledge factor. Stigmatizing attitudes found quite satisfied. It can be concluded reduce intervening transcultural other factors affecting factor Further research should apply care.
