摘要: Abstract: Passive solutions for building energy efficiency represent an interesting research focus nowadays. In particular, natural materials are widely investigated their potential intrinsic high thermal and environmental performance. this view, stones a promising solution as envelope covering urban pavement. This paper concerns the experimental characterization of several low-cost local gravel coverings roofs paving, properly selected albedo characteristics. To aim, in-field samples is measured with varying grain size. These measurements compared to in-lab solar reflectance emissivity. The analysis shows significant variation Both agree that finest size, i.e. , fine sand, have best optic-thermal performance in terms (62%). feature results reduction surface temperature when exposed radiation. Moreover, mixed stone stone, demonstrating chosen presents “cool” behavior. Therefore, natural, low-cost, durable sustainable material could be successfully considered cool roof or paving solution.
