摘要: ABSTRACTHydrogels are being prepared for use in a wide variety of applications ranging from medicines, tissue engineering, superabsorbents, controlled release drugs & fertilizers, and oil absorbers etc. This review highlights hydrogel structure their different classifications under various heads. It also discusses routes to obtain tailormade hydrogels by polymerizing combination two or more monomers with proper type crosslinks order desired properties the resulting hydrogel. Novel configurations like microgels nanogels, slide ring gels, double network nanocomposite gels have been reviewed.
