摘要: Pooling of information from subpopulations achieves data compactification but some characteristics the are lost in process. The greatest danger amalgamating contingency tables is possibility a resulting paradox. Many such paradoxes have been noted since 1903 when Yule first noticed this phenomenon. We note three types paradoxes. definition homogeneity proposed here sufficient condition to avoid Yule’s Reversal Paradox. look at interpretations and examples.
