Synthesis and sintering of Ni3Al intermetallic compound by combustion synthesis process

摘要: Abstract In order to develop the production process of Ni 3 Al intermetallic compound, combustion synthesis compound was investigated. Some kinds and powders with differential powder size were used as initial substances. These mixed, Ni/Al mixed compacts (Ni:Al = 3:1 in atomic ratio) prepared. The heated a vacuum furnace, produced by thermal explosion synthesis. For compounds obtained, density measurement, microstructure observation, phase analysis, strength test performed. Furthermore, boron added Ni, B experiment attempted well. A nearly dense could be obtained controlling raw green compact. products consisted grains about 50 μm. From compressive test, it found that equal fusion process. To improve brittle nature attempted. Although, compact fused during synthesis, synthesized charge ratio powders. plastic deformation measured, confirmed addition effective nature. route determined this paper.
