摘要: Gerhard Tintner was born September 29, 1907 of Austrian parents in Nurnberg, Germany. He studied economics, statistics and law at the University Vienna, where he received his Doctor’s degree 1929. In 1930 spent some time research work London School Economics. Then, under a fellowship extended to him by Rockefeller Foundation, took postdoctoral Harvard University, Columbia California (Berkeley) Stanford United States, Institut Henri Poincare Paris, France Cambridge England. By training temperament, has been able collate ideas from many sources; professional bears mark own originality singularly free stamp particular school or tradition.
