摘要: Despite well-documented increases in completed suicides among children, accurate knowledge of the characteristics these is very limited. The aim this study was to investigate general suicide children and adolescents province Istanbul evaluate obtained results light literature. Data were collected from autopsy records Morgue Department Institute Forensic Medicine, Istanbul. General between 2001 2005 retrospectively reviewed. included 176 aged 9-19 years. overwhelming majority (92%) 15-19 More than half (60%) male. most frequent means hanging (55%) followed by firearms (20%) jump or descent height (15%).
