摘要: Bubbles in liquids show a rich set of phenomena ranging from harmless gaseous bubbles rising liquid to almost empty cavitation responsible for the destruction ship propellers. A special property are extremely high-speed flows they enable by providing space acceleration. Thus bubble dynamics presents challenge proper investigation, particular jet formation and shock wave radiation. One tool developed study fast is photography with suitable cameras. The gradual approach resolve dynamics, collapse, via ever too slow cameras up state art some hundred million frames per second reviewed. Some ideas on numerical extension camera speed limits put forward. Moreover, first historic steps into getting three-dimensional images recorded holography thousand holograms reported.
