摘要: Abstract A sensitive, specific method of detecting the N-terminal region β-galactosidase molecule is described. This used to measure quantities and molecular weights nonsense termination fragments produced by many Z − mutants. The quantity fragment varies over a hundredfold range but always less than wild-type enzyme. There no simple correlation between either map position or polarity amount present. increase continuously with distance from operator end gene.
